Abstract

Reporters Sans Frontieres (RSF), the World Association of Community Broadcasters (AMARC), World Association of Newspapers (WAN), the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT), Writers in Prison Committee (WiPC) and other sources AMERICAN SAMOA Investigation Department (DNIC) after the station rebroadcast a BBC interview with UNITA leader Jonas Savimbi, which was also aired by state television service TPA. Tavares and Joaquim were interrogated for four hours at the DNIC and released by midnight. On 10 August, Juliao was rearrested along with station director Emanuel da Mata after the station again broadcast the interview during its noon bulletin.
