Independent non-medical prescribing in a nurse-led hospice: strengths and challenges

Abstract: Independent non-medical prescribing has been a safe, effective and economical initiative for St Teresa's nurse-led hospice, as indicated by yearly audits of prescribing charts and incident reports.
