We also share their concerns about the rise of EDs in adolescents and suggest that our best intentions of keeping children and youth safe during the pandemic are not working. Having this many children and youth distressed is a collective failure that requires urgent prioritization and investment. If we do not act swiftly, we may well enact lasting harm to this generation.
