Increased long‐term remission after adequate medical cortisol suppression therapy as presurgical treatment in Cushing's disease

Abstract: Adequate presurgical cortisol suppression treatment with ketoconazole or metyrapone in Cushing's disease seems to be associated with suppressed postoperative cortisol concentrations and an increased long-term remission rate.
