Increased colony growth in peripheral blood cultures from patients with ALL depends on immunological subtype*

Abstract: The proliferative capacity of precursor cells in bone marrow and peripheral blood of 19 patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) at diagnosis was studied and results were compared with the immunophenotype of the leukaemic population.
