Incorrect disposal of medications: integrative literature review

Abstract: Drug disposal is of concern to public health, as toxic waste can be considered depending on the composition and degree of toxicity. Therefore, they cannot have the same destination as waste considered common. Humans are responsible for disposal, be it expired drugs, leftovers, disuse or excess.
