Inconsistent Addiction Treatment for Patients Undergoing Cardiac Surgery for Injection Drug Use-Associated Infective endocarditis

Abstract: Introduction: Cases of injection drug use-related infective endocarditis (IDU-IE) requiring surgery are rising in the setting of the current U.S. opioid epidemic.
