Abstract:Background: The long-term significance of lead remnants (LR) following transvenous lead extraction (TLE) remains disputable, especially in infectious patients. Methods: Retrospective analysis of 3741 TLEs focused on the relationship between LR and procedure complexity, complications and long-term survival.
