Labor is an essential factor of production in running a farm. Production produced by farmers depends on the availability of sufficient labor so that efficiency is achieved. However, the demand for labor is currently high while the supply is low. Therefore, there is a labor crisis in the agricultural sector. Its limited availability is caused by labor regeneration, which is still difficult to implement considering that the younger generation is not interested in working as farmers and chooses other professions. This study aims to analyze farmers' response to agricultural labor based on the local wisdom of the Besiru model in East Lombok Regency. This type of research is descriptive analysis research to explain the actual conditions of agricultural labor based on the local wisdom of the Besiru model. The research location was purposely determined to be in Batu Putik Village, Keruak District, considering that farmers still use Besiru in running their farming business. The research sample of 30 farmers was determined by census in the Bareng Bersinar Farmer Group I and the Bareng Bersinar Farmer Group II. The method for estimating farmer responses to the Besiru model labor system uses the empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication (EPIC) model with Likert's Summated Rating Scale (LSRS), where each choice of answers is given a score. The results showed that most farmers' cognitive, affective, and conative responses to the Besiru model labor were as expected.

The main problem in the development of the shallots business in the Solok Regency production center is the weakness of farmer institutional governance and market access. This article aims to formulate a strategy for the transformation of farmers institutional governance in the direction of the farmers corporate institutional governance. This study was conducted in July-August 2019. The results show that the institutional performance of the farmer groups association is at a medium level measured by the role and business activities, while the cooperative is at a level that is less developed in encouraging the development of farmer institutions towards corporate institutions that ongoing in the shallots agribusiness area. Institutional governance performance of the farmers group association and cooperatives has shown that they have begun to work, but the mechanism of work and coordination has not been effective. Strategies for transformation of institutional governance farmer group assosiation and cooperatives into farmer corporation can be done by adding new structures by participating in integrated agribusiness systems and businesses, expanding market goals and segments, developing new related businesses, and strengthening horizontal corporate institutional governance and horizontally vertical through integrated agribusiness partnership.

In the agricultural sector of Central Java, this study examines the relationship between supply chain effectiveness, government policies, infrastructure development, and farmers' income. This study investigates the current status of infrastructure accessibility, government regulations, supply chain dynamics, and income sources through quantitative analyses involving 250 farmers. To verify and examine the correlation between the variables, structural equation modelling with partial least squares, or SEM-PLS, was used. Variations in the level of supply chain efficiency, farmers' attitudes towards government policies, infrastructure quality, and income distribution are shown by descriptive statistics. All proposed hypotheses were supported by the structural model, and the measurement model showed excellent levels of validity and reliability. The results of this study highlight the importance of infrastructure, sensible public policies, and efficient supply chains in increasing farmers' income. There is a discussion of practical consequences and suggestions for stakeholders and policymakers, with a focus on the need for focused action to improve the socio-economic conditions of farmers in Central Java. Although the statistical relationship between these variables is strong, farmers and the government are highly interdependent, so the real implications for the government to improve farmers in Central Java include regulation and distribution similar to other big cities.
