Inclusive spectra of(p,xp)and(p,xd)reactions on

Abstract: New experimental data for the inclusive reactions (p,xp) and (p,xd) on isotopes of the nuclei 90,92 Zr and 92 Mo, have been measured at E p ϭ30.3 MeV, which has not been investigated in detail so far. We show the extension of the preequilibrium reactions to this energy region and interpret the results of these experiments. Moreover, we display the mechanism of the reaction and the level of energy dependence. The adequacy of the theoretical models in explaining the measured experimental data is also discussed. … Show more

“…The problem is largely connected with obtaining new experimental data on double-differential cross-sections in (p,xp), (p,xd) etc. Thus, it is anticipated that the availability of high-quality experimental data on reactions with different proton energies [1], using charged particles for the doubledifferential cross-sections, could address this problem.…”

“…This work continues the series of investigations in [4,5] of double differential and integral cross sections for reactions on candidate nuclei for the structural ele ments of projected nuclear power plants. Here we investigate the 209 Bi nucleus, a material of the neutron producing targets in ADSes.…”

“…Reviews on available experimental data of reactions with nucleons are presented in [5]. Several experiments on double-differential cross sections measurements have been performed at energy about 30 MeV [6][7][8][9][10][11]. More over at this energy many channels of reactions are open, and the total cross section of the reactions for nuclei of such mass region reaches its maximum [12].…”
