Abstract:A 55-year-old male with known gastroesophageal junction carcinoma presented for staging PET/CT examination. In addition to increased activity in the region of the known malignancy, a mass was found extending along the right psoas muscle from the level of the lower pole of the kidney to the inguinal ligament and into the soft tissues of the groin.
