Incidence, treatment and outcome of peripartum sepsis

Abstract: Our analysis shows that peripartum sepsis is associated with preterm pregnancies and cesarean sections. Treatment of peripartum sepsis with second-generation cephalosporin is usually effective, and the outcome is good.
