“…The Facial lacerations were classified according to the MCFONTZL system developed by Lee et al, (Lee et al, 1999) with slight modifications where we considered it to be appropriate. MCFONTZEL classification system is based on distinct facial zones, which is a simple and clinically applicable method for the complete assessment of trauma-related soft-tissue injuries to the face (Awlla and Shihab, 2013). Confidentiality was maintained and identification numbers instead of patients' names were used in the questionnaires and clinical examination forms.…”
