Incidence of Appendiceal Neoplasms in Appendectomy Patients

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Non-operative management has been suggested as a therapy for uncomplicated appendicitis. Notwithstanding, the risk of missing an appendiceal tumor must be considered, being the surgical piece crucial to rule out neoplasms.
