Abstract: Introduction: Mutations that activate the RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK pathway have long been known to occur in patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies. The most common mutations occur in the Ras family of GTPases (HRAS, NRAS, KRAS) and the Raf family of serine-threonine kinases (ARAF, BRAF, CRAF).
