Abstract: Background: This study aimed at evaluating oxidant and antioxidant markers (including nitrite, nitrate, total antioxidant capacity (TAC), malondialdehyde (MDA), iron, selenium, glutathione peroxidase (GPx), and glutathione reductase (GR) in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and compare them with healthy controls.
