Abstract:Glycerol kinase deficiency (GKD) is an X‐linked recessive disorder due to glycerol kinase (GK) gene mutations resulting in hyperglycerolermia, hyperglyceroluria, and “pseudohypertriglyceridemia.” In vivo glycerol metabolism has not been assessed in GKD.
