Abstract:The study was conducted to find out the anti-leech effect of 5 indigenously used plant species on Hirudinaria manillensis. Aqueous and methanolic extracts of Nicotiana spp., Zanthoxylum alatum, Solanum khasianum, Cucumis sativus and Lasia spinosa were prepared.
