Abstract:Comparative effects of 0.03% of EMS(Ethyl methanesulphonate) and 0.03% SA (Sodium azide) for 5 hours on secondary metabolite production in Andrographis paniculata were conducted in this study. Calli derived from leaf explants inoculated on Murashige and Skoog's (MS) medium supplemented with 2 mg/l NAA, 1 mg/l Kinetin and 50 mg/l Phenylalanine.
