Abstract:This research demonstrates the in vitro fertilization (IVF) technique by using the digital microfluidic (DMF) system. The DMF device has been proved with biocompatibility and used in this research for mouse gametes in vitro fertilization and embryos culture based on the dispersed droplet form. Dynamically moving, cell culture and observation can be achieved by the time-lapse microscopy in an incubator. The fertilization rate of IVF on DMF is 34.8%, and about 25% inseminated embryos dynamically cultured on DMF … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
