In vitro Anticancer Activity of Marine Fungus Penicillium cyaneum

Abstract: Article InfoCancer is one of the most life-threatening diseases worldwide. Over the last few years, several metabolites produced by marine fungi have displayed potent anticancer effects. In the present study the anticancer activity of marine fungus Penicillium cyaneum against HepG 2 cells (human liver carcinoma cells) was assessed by in vitro cytotoxicity assay.
