Abstract: Small animalsA study of 25 client-owned dogs that died or were euthanased during treatment for tick paralysis was conducted to evaluate the prevalence and nature of histological lung lesions in affected dogs. 1Histological examination revealed that all dogs had significant pulmonary changes, with 15 dogs showing moderate or severe acute diffuse bronchopneumonia.
