“…Measured 176 Hf/ 177 Hf ratios were normalized to 179 Hf/ 177 Hf=0.7325. Further external adjustment is not applied for the unknowns because our determined 176 Hf/ 177 Hf ratios of 0.2820209±0.0000065 for zircon standards GJ-1 are in good agreement with the reported values [21].…”

“…LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb dating for sample PIII-02 were conducted at the MC-ICPMS laboratory of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGG CAS) in Peking, China. Detailed operating conditions for the laser ablation system and the ICP-MS instrument and data reduction were the same as described by Xie et al (2008). An Agilent 7500a quadruple (Q)-ICPMS and a Neptune multi-collector (MC)-ICPMS with a 193 nm excimer ArF laser-ablation system (GeoLas Plus) attached were used for simultaneous determination of zircon U-Pb ages.…”

“…The analytical method for U-Pb age is the same as those described in Xie et al (2008). The fractionation correction and results were calculated using GLITTER 4.0 (Jackson et al, 2004) and then corrected using the Harvard zircon 91 500 as external standard.…”
