Abstract:Thin films of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) were fabricated via the vaporphase polymerization (VPP) of the monomer 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) with FeCl 3 •6H 2 O as the oxidant. The doping level and electrical properties of the VPP-PEDOT films were investigated by Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and electrical conductivity measurements. The VPP of EDOT was observed by in situ ultravioletvisible (UV-Vis) absorption spectroscopy. The results showed that highly doped … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
