Abstract: Mayaro (MAYV), Saint Louis encephalitis (SLEV), and Oropouche (OROV) viruses are neglected members of the three main families of arboviruses with medical relevance that circulate in the Amazon region as etiological agents of outbreaks of febrile illnesses in humans.
