In silico designing of a new cysteine analogue of hirudin variant 3 for site specific PEGylation

Abstract: Hirudin is an anticoagulant agent of the salivary glands of the medicinal leech. Recombinant hirudin (r-Hir) displays certain drawbacks including bleeding and immunogenicity.
