“…After analyzing the seismic behavior indexes of Chinese traditional style buildings by using the method of rapid dynamic loading, literature [7] shows that compared with single-column joints, double-column joints have higher load-bearing stiffness and more Sustainable Management of Decorative Patterns of Shanghai Shikumen Architectural Houses Based on ROI Optimization 3 comprehensive action curves, which promotes the further development of Chinese traditional style structures. Literature [8], in order to meet the seismic performance of Romanian buildings, combined with the lightweight structural timber system of Romanian buildings and tested several parameters on different specimens, proposed the details of the building system as well as the main parameters of seismic behavior, which provide directions for the seismic design of modern buildings. Literature [9] studied the most influential impacts of traditional sustainable architecture by analyzing climatic, topological and sociological factors, as well as materials used that influence the formation of this type of coastal dwellings, taking into account the Putrovska-type houses on the coast of Montenegro as part of the cultural heritage.…”

“…Other studies on seismic retrofitting for TFs include constructing shear walls by applying board materials. Huang et al [32] proposed a retrofitting technique applying oriented strand board, Sudo et al [33] proposed a medium-density fiber-board technique, and Dutu et al [34,35] proposed a technique applying timbers at regular intervals in a diagonal sheathing arrangement. However, these techniques are unsuitable for connection reinforcement.…”
