Abstract: Objective: Borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) are generally considered to be non-invasive tumors with low malignancy potential. However, studies show that BOTs have the ability to progress to low-grade carcinomas and gain the potential to invade surrounding tissue and to metastasize.
