Abstract:Background:
Patients with sellar masses undergoing transsphenoidal surgery (TSS) frequently develop endocrine dysfunction; therefore, in-hospital endocrinology consultation (IHEC) is recommended. However, we wondered whether routine endocrinology assessment of all TSS patients is always necessary.
