Improving tracheostomy delivery for trauma and surgical critical care patients: timely trach initiative

Abstract: BackgroundTracheostomy is recommended within 7 days of intubation for patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) or requiring prolonged mechanical ventilation.
