Improving the tribological characteristics of lubricants by introduction of an additive of zinc phosphorovolframate

Abstract: The results of the application of an inorganic polymer of zinc phosphorovolframate as an antifriction and anti-wear additive introduced into vaseline and glycerine, used as a dispersion medium for created lubricants are presented. It was found that the introduction of this type of additive into such dispersion media improves the tribological properties of lubricants without reducing the operational parameters.
