Improving the properties of composite materials for civil engineering

Abstract: It is shown that a highly-efficient chemical activation of the cement-containing composite mixture with the help of a new generation nanostructural additive makes it possible to develop high-strength finegrained and heavy-weight concretes with the improved strength and deformation characteristics. The recommended nanostructural additive has an increased triple effect: reactive, catalytic, and plasticizing. The use of the proposed additive many times increases the hydration activity of the hardening system, exe… Show more

“…Common metals such as aluminum, copper, iron, nickel, steel, and titanium are used to make fibers, as well as organic ingredients such as glass, carbon, boron, and graphite. New material systems are constantly being developed . The definition of semiproducts, the order of stacking, the processing technique, or the topology of the structure are only a few of the many parameters that make up a composite structure’s comprehensive description.…”

“…One of the most important issues of our time is restoring concrete geostructures of 20 th century weakened and damaged under external stresses and environmental impact. Furthermore, one of the important objectives is improving physical-mechanical properties of operated concrete geostructures since the quality requirements are always increasing [1][2][3][4][5][6][7].…”
