Improving the operation of a surface water intake with exceeded redundant capacity using reliability analysis and life cycle costing

Abstract: Integrated procedures of analysis have been presented combining both reliability and economical aspects of operation of a water supply system (WSS). The method presented is a practical application of the reliability analysis and life-cycle costing which is a part of a decision support system (DSS) for WSS.
