Improving the List of Tariff Proposals for Paying for Public Transport in Urban and Suburban Traffic of the Republic of Belarus Based on the Experience of Large Cities in Europe and Russia

Abstract

The article describes the general approaches to the formation of tariff proposals for fare in the cities of Belarus. The current tariff proposals for fare in the following cities were studied: Warsaw (Poland), Vilnius (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), Berlin (Germany), Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russia). A list of tariffs for regular passenger traffic in the listed cities is given. As a result of the study, recommendations for improving tariff proposals for public transport fare in urban and suburban traffic in the Republic of Belarus were proposed. The practical significance of the study lies in the possible implementation by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, together with the city executive committees, of the proposed approaches to the formation of fares.
