Improving the discharge system in CDQ units

Abstract: Means of optimizing the coke discharge unit and improving the efficiency of dry quenching are considered. The development of a continuous coke discharge unit with an aerodynamic gate is discussed. Portion by portion discharge in a gate system is compared with continuous coke discharge. Various options for continuous coke discharge are analyzed.
