Improving Engagement of Animated Visualization with Visual Foreshadowing

Abstract: Animated visualization is becoming increasingly popular as a compelling way to illustrate changes in time series data. However, maintaining the viewers focus throughout the entire animation is difficult because of its time-consuming nature.
