Abstract. The paper presents a three-dimensional method of measuring diameter and ovality of cylindrical objects in diverging laser beam. Mathematical software method is developed. Virtual simulation of this method and experimental testing are made. The results can be used for design and manufacture of optical devices, which will be used for technological control of external diameter of cable, wire, trumpet and other products.

Nowadays industry uses special washing machines to wash the outer surface of cans, which can be jet, submersible and combined-type. These washing machines are quite energy-intensive and metal-consuming. A washing machine was designed in Mari State University, in which the objects cleaned gain eccentric motion and bubbling is created from the side of cylindrical cans. In order to identify the dependence of the cleaning quality on liquid activation using the air bubbling method, a number of factor-at-a-time experiments with a three-fold repeatability were performed at the outside of the washed objects. Special theoretical calculations were carried out to identify the limits of the drive wheel speed values aimed at studying kinematic parameters. The type of hyperbolic dependence of the wheel diameter on its rotation frequency is also determined.

Abstract. The creeping speed mode is studied with calculation of the resultant vector of the flux linkage ψ 0 of the double-fed machine. It is shown that use of the double-fed machine as the actuating motor in the creeping speed mode increases the working off accuracy of the motion law. A mathematical model of the double-fed machine to study various modes of the CNC machine including the creeping speed mode is developed. The method to estimate the load parameters of the double-fed machine is presented. Practical implication of the study is confirmed by the results obtained in the evaluation of the influence of load parameters on the dynamic indicators of actuating electromotor.
