Improvement of the limiting relative friction law on a permeable plate with blowing of gas into a compressible turbulent boundary layer

Abstract

The authors have obtained the relative laws of friction and heat transfer in a compressible turbulent boundary layer with gas injection at the wall.In [i] for supersonic flow over a permeable surface with gas blowing the following limiting formulas were obtained for the laws of friction and the critical separation parameter: i doThe results of numerical calculations of Eq. (i) over a wide range of M number and * were presented in [i]. The calculation of the integral of Eq. (I) was performed as a function of the parameter b, for constant values of M and ~. References [i, 2] also suggested formulas to approximate the results of the calculations with Eqs.
