Improved Simulated Annealing Based Network Model for E-Recycling Reverse Logistics Decisions under Uncertainty

Abstract: Electronic waste recycle (e-recycling) is gaining increasing importance due to greater environmental concerns, legislation, and corporate social responsibility. A novel approach is explored for designing the e-recycling reverse logistics network (RLN) under uncertainty. The goal is to obtain a solution, i.e., increasing the storage capacity of the logistics node, to achieve optimal or nearoptimal profit under the collection requirement set by the government and the investment from the enterprise. The approach … Show more

“…to effectively adapt to the needs of the market economy construction, it is necessary to play a cross-border e-commerce transportation mode of superiority [1][2][3]. e-commerce, this new type of data processing mode makes the enterprise in the purchase and sale of goods in the simple and safe, information network platform for the buyer and seller of trade to create a kind of data-based platform, the full integration of the cross-border ecommerce Logistics and distribution methods, effectively adapted to the needs of enterprises and customers, cross-border e-commerce logistics and distribution methods have become the current trend of internationalization and development of enterprises [4][5][6].…”

“…Many scholars have studied the highly uncertain characteristics of reverse logistics. For example, Wang L et al [3] designed a model of uncertain recycling amount for electronic products and made network location decision based on the improved simulated annealing algorithm. Christos Zikopoulos et al [4] built a model based on the uncertainty characteristics of reverse recovery demand and quality, and analyzed its impact on the profitability of reverse supply chain.…”
