“…Characteristic absorbance bands of PVDF observed at 485 cm −1 , 530 cm −1 , 611 cm −1 , 761 cm −1 , 766 cm −1 and 795 cm −1 are correlated to the trans-gauche TGTG’ conformation of PVDF α-phase [ 45 ], while characteristic absorption bands suggesting the presence of the β phase are located at wavelengths 510 cm −1 , 838 cm −1 , 873 cm −1 and 1234 cm −1 [ 46 , 47 ]. The bands at 510 cm −1 , 838 cm −1 , 873 cm −1 , and 1234 cm −1 that appeared in each composite film signify the formation of the β-phase (all-trans TTTT conformation) [ 45 , 48 ]. Structurally and spectroscopically, the β- and γ-phases exhibit bands appear at same positions, 510 cm −1 and 838 cm −1 , posing a challenge for distinguishing them.…”
