Improved Protocols for the Synthesis and Halogenation of Sterically Hindered Metalloporphyrins

Abstract: Improved procedures are described for the synthesis of meso~tetra• kis(2,6-dichlorophcnyl)porphyrin and for subsequent perhalogcnation of the porphyrin ring.
