Abstract:Conventional, degenerate multiphoton microscopy (D-MPM) requires the use of a high-numericalaperture (NA) objective. Nondegenerate MPM (ND-MPM) imposes the additional demand for precise spatiotemporal overlap of two distinct excitation sources.
