Improved annotation of Lutzomyia longipalpis genome using bioinformatics analysis

Abstract: Lutzomyia longipalpis, a sand fly, is a vector-spreading pathogenic protozoan in the New World. MicroRNA (miRNA) is evolutionarily-conserved non-coding RNA, which plays critical roles in various biological processes.
