Impressão 3d: ferramenta de prototipagem rápida para elaboração de metodologias e kits didáticos relacionados à educação

Abstract

In recent years, the use of 3D printers has gained a great prominence in the corporate and academic circles. Today, more and more, 3D printing technology is approaching the end consumer. However, the high cost required to purchase this equipment delays, or even prevents, a greater diffusion in academic circles and in low-income communities. In order to overcome this difficulty, this project proposes the development and construction of low-cost 3D printers. Specifically, the strategy adopted here uses low-cost components and reused scrap materials, resulting in a final price of approximately only 30% compared to conventional 3D printers currently available on the market. Additionally, this project addresses the making of educational prototypes, didactic and multidisciplinary kits, using 3D printing technology. Thus, it is expected that from this rapid prototyping strategy, students of different school levels, internal and external to IFSC, will benefit from access to new technologies that assist them in the teaching-learning process.
