Importance of Malarial Exclusion in a Thrombocytopenic Febrile Patient in an Endemic Area

Abstract: AIM OF THE STUDY:To evaluate the role of platelet count for predicting malarial infection and to determine the frequency and severity of thrombocytopenia in malarial parasite positive patients.
