Implications of Sediment Properties on Phosphorus Availability to the Selenastrum capricornutum in Urmia Lake Rivers

Abstract: Increasing anthropogenic loading of phosphorus (P) threatens aquatic ecosystems. The bioavailability of P in sediments for algal growth depends on several physiochemical properties.
