Implications of CP -violating top-Higgs couplings at the LHC and Higgs factories

Abstract: We utilise the LHC Run-1 and -2 Higgs data to constrain the CP-violating top-Higgs couplings. In order to satisfy the current full Higgs data sets at 2σ level, the CP-odd component C With the new bound, we explore the impact on the CP-violating top-Higgs couplings in the Higgs production processes pp → tth, thj, hh at 13 TeV LHC, and e + e − → hZ, hγ at future 240 GeV Higgs factories. We find that the cross sections of pp → tth, pp → thj, pp → hh, e + e − → hZ and e + e − → hγ can be enhanced up to 1.41, 1.18, … Show more

“…In this work we perform a comprehensive study of the phenomenology of the EWSUSY scenario for the muon g − 2 and dark matter. Note that in the literature [29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36] such a scenario has been discussed to some extent. However, those studies either did not require the SUSY dark matter to provide the correct abundance or focused on the phenomenology at the LHC.…”

“…The presence of sin ξ term leads to the CP violation in top-Higgs coupling. It will affect the Higgs production and decay channels, the electric dipole moments and the flavor physics observables, which are measured to well agree with the SM and then set strong constraints on the CP-violating top-Higgs coupling [6,7]. However, these indirect bounds are model-dependent and * renjie@itp.ac.cn † leiwu@itp.ac.cn ‡ jmyang@itp.ac.cn can be evaded in some extensions of the SM.…”

“…On the other hand, new physics effects on the process have not been fully explored yet. There are several studies in the literature in the context of anomalous Higgsboson couplings or an effective field theory [10][11][12][13][14][15] as well as concrete new physics models such as supersymmetric models [7,[16][17][18] and the inert doublet model (IDM) [19].…”
