Implicações Socioambientais Do Moderno Agronegócio Sucroenergético E Vulnerabilidade Territorial No Brasil: Sustentabilidade Para Que E Para Quem?

Abstract

O objetivo do presente artigo é analisar as implicações socioambientais provocada pela expansão recente do agronegócio sucroenergético no território brasileiro, tendo como perspectiva que o processo de modernização produtiva não foi capaz de eliminar os impactos historicamente ligados ao setor e, portanto, resultar em plena sustentabilidade socioambiental. Ao contrário do que dizem representantes das empresas e do Estado, o setor continua a gerar vários danos sociais e ambientais nas Regiões Produtivas do Agronegócio Sucroenergético (RPAS), conforme atestam os estudos acadêmicos, notícias e reportagens da imprensa sobre denúncias, investigações, multas e condenações de agentes do setor envolvidos em irregularidades.

Identification of coastal natural disasters using official databases to provide support for the coastal management: the case of Santa Catarina, Brazil
