Abstract:This study aims to determine the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on writing scientific articles. The target group was 70 Indonesian students at Universitas Asahan enrolling Indonesian Language course. The duration of the course was 14 weeks. Students were asked to submit individual writing and group projects during the experiment.
