Abstract:Background:
Robotic ventral hernia repair has been increasing globally, with comparable outcomes to laparoscopic repair and lower rates of conversion to open surgery. Robotic surgery is increasing in popularity, and there is a number of new robotic systems entering the marketing. We report the first case of a Roboic eTEP using the Versius robotic system in a patient with an incisional hernia.
